Northwest ISD COVID-19 Response Plan
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led Northwest ISD's online response, including the creation and updating of an information hub for families to quickly find news and details about the district's plans. Through coordination with our district webmaster, this hub was launched the same day our superintendent announced an extended facilities closure. Throughout the pandemic, I kept this webpage updated daily with new information and an F.A.Q. section.
In addition to the website, I wrote email communication and letters coming from the district and its departments as well as all social media posts. Through coordination with other departments, such as curriculum, athletics and fine arts, I provided families with updates about various areas of the district through direct email and phone communication. All vital communication was also translated to Spanish through a translation process I oversaw with a teacher who volunteered to translate messages. Additionally, closure announcements were further translated in Vietnamese through the assistance of another volunteer teacher translator whom I coordinated with.
During the pandemic, I served as the sole manager of responses through online channels, including three district email accounts (one specifically created for the pandemic) and social media.

Denton ISD Responsive Website
In early 2015, I oversaw the redesign of Denton Independent School District's website to a responsive design. This overhaul meant the full Denton ISD website could be accessed on any type of device – such as a smartphone, tablet or computer – without compromises or having to resort to a limited "mobile" design for smartphones and tablets. Denton ISD was one of the first school districts in North Texas with a responsive website as a result.
Working with our third-party website content management system provider, Schoolwires, I laid out my vision for the design (focusing on prominent colors, shapes and typography) and implemented the template to the district website as well as all 43 school and department websites.
